ALROSA sells $14.5 mln large diamonds at auction in Israel
MOSCOW, May 31 (PRIME) -- Russian diamond mining giant ALROSA has sold U.S. $14.5 million worth of diamonds with the mass of 10.8 carats and more at an auction in Israel, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
The company auctioned 112 lots of diamonds with the combined weight of 1,824 carats. Companies from Israel, Belgium, India, the U.S., and the United Arab Emirates participated in the trade, ALROSA said.
The company plans to conduct three more auctions in the Israeli city of Ramat Gan until the end of 2018.
